Welcome on the Ludoland website!

I'm Cedric, the founder of Ludoland. I'm a professional furniture maker and since 2023, I'm also a juried member of the Saskatchewan Craft Council. While I enjoy making a variety of wooden products, like carvings and games, I take the most pride and joy in designing and creating fine pieces of furniture, using traditional hand tools and techniques.

With the unique pieces of furniture I create, I'm helping my clients setting up the living space they dream of.

I'm also the teacher/instructor of children who want to live the Ludoland Experience.

MODERN DOUGLAS COFFEE TABLE

When 100+ year old wood is saved from trash to bring elegancy into your living room.

Yes you are reading correctly. 4 months ago, this wood was in garbage bin,

Ready for destruction… But it was in a different form. It had hinges and knobs, it was doors.

They were taken down from a very old Regina house, which means that the tree this wood comes from started his life on earth more than a century ago.

This tells you the amount of history contained in that table …

One of our followers spotted these doors in a container, and thought we could save it. It was all painted and looking old … But after hours of cleaning and preparation, what I discovered is some beautiful quarter sawn Douglas fir …

… That I just turned into this elegant table top, sitting on mat black steal legs.

Due to the nature of that project, it’s a one of a kind, no other table like this will be made.
